James

In life it's tempting to hedge our bets and not to put all of our eggs in one basket.  We want to avoid committing to too many things, but we also tend to avoid committing to only one thing.   How will that way of thinking impact our relationship with God?  It will result in what James diagnoses as double-mindedness, and it's a big problem.

In this enormously practical book James will confront the problem and help us to become wholehearted, all-the-way-through Christians, not just people who look and sound Christian on the outside.  As he does that he’ll speak into the realities of an ever changing world, and address issues like suffering and bias and favouritism (and therefore racism) and money, as well as teaching us how to listen to God and how to pray.
